The Institute for Infectious Diseases and Environment (2IDE) is a scientific research and innovation organization legally registered in Benin in April 2025 under registration number 255/MISP/DC/SGM/DAIC/SACC/SA.
Through strong and strategic partnerships, we are committed to conducting high-quality, high-impact scientific research that provides innovative and sustainable solutions to inform strategies and policies implemented in Africa and around the world. Our goal is to contribute to the elimination of infectious diseases and the preservation of the environment.
We aim to generate evidence-based scientific data to guide decision-makers involved in the fight against infectious diseases and in environmental protection (water and sanitation, climate resilience, and other related fields) so they can make informed decisions for the well-being of populations.
